Russia making U.S. look good

Russia is doing their best impression of Nazi Germany who annexed Austria and Sudetenland to “protect” ethnic Germans living outside Germany.  Soon after the Nazis would roll over every country in Eastern and Western Europe as the world looked the other way.   Russia has entered Georgia to “protect its Russian citizens” living outside of Russia.  [...]

Russian Roulette

It feels like Russia has lost their ever-lovin’ minds. Putin is swinging his manhood around like a schoolyard bully. I was very disappointed that our stance in the world has diminished to the point where Russia felt they could attack an ally of ours without consequence. I was encouraged this morning by [...]

Big thank you to Barack Obama

I hadn’t even realized my tires weren’t properly inflated until he mentioned it. He just saved me a bundle at the pump and I saved our nation from reliance on foreign oil.

RIP Tony Snow

I will miss Tony Snow.  His disarming charm, wit, and grace captivated everybody.  He has to be the most likable White House Press Secretary in recent memory.   He was also quite an intelligent guy and you always paid attention when he spoke.

I’m worried

Sorry I’ve been away. I took my son to football camp and was just too busy to post anything. More on that later.
What I’m worried about is the pending liberal take-over of all three branches of government. What happens if President Obama gets to nominate a liberal to the Supreme Court? [...]

Mad Cow mass hysteria in Seoul

80,000 people protested in Seoul, South Korea over the lifting of the U.S. beef ban. There has been an hysterical and irrational fear of mad cow disease.
According to the CDC, there have only been 3 cases of mad cow ever in the United States and none since early 2006. From what I can tell, not [...]

Another reason to hate NY

As if the Yankees weren’t enough of a reason:
NEW YORK (AP) - A city Health Department study finds that more than a fourth of adult New Yorkers are infected with the virus that causes genital herpes.
The study, released Monday, says about 26 percent of New York City adults have genital herpes, compared to about 19 [...]

VIP?

I read an article today about how challenging it can be to treat a “VIP” patient such as Ted Kennedy. The article also refers to actors as VIP patients. I object to the term VIP. VIP is such an elitist term. What makes Ted Kennedy “more important” than the rest of us? [...]

Coming soon to a state near you

Gay marriage in Massachusetts. Gay marriage in California. It’s happening everywhere so get used to it. Soon it will be in every state. My stance is probably slightly different than most. I do not take any sort of moral or religious stance on this issue. I am [...]

Hillary on O’Reilly

I thought she did a lot better than I expected in terms of holding her own with O’Reilly. Far better than that chickensh** Obama could do. Of course she still scares the crap out of me especially when she said she could raise income tax at least 6.5% on incomes over $250,000. [...]
