RIP Tony Snow

I will miss Tony Snow.  His disarming charm, wit, and grace captivated everybody.  He has to be the most likable White House Press Secretary in recent memory.   He was also quite an intelligent guy and you always paid attention when he spoke.

Hillary on O’Reilly

I thought she did a lot better than I expected in terms of holding her own with O’Reilly. Far better than that chickensh** Obama could do. Of course she still scares the crap out of me especially when she said she could raise income tax at least 6.5% on incomes over $250,000. [...]

30% of NY is stupid

This is no surprise to any Republican or Red Sox fan, but if you need further evidence, a Marist Poll shows that 22% of New Yorkers think Eliot Spitzer should not resign and 8% are unsure. Using scientific reasoning and my tremendous powers of deduction I have concluded that 30% of New Yorkers [...]

Affirmative Action for Obama?

Former VP candidate and liberal Democrat Geraldine Ferraro said,
If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in [...]

Grey Lady goes senile - Endorse and Destroy

The NY Times basically accused John McCain of having an affair with a lobbyist and doing special favors for her. They offer absolutely no evidence whatsoever. May I remind you that the NYT endorsed McCain while sitting on this “information”.
Endorse and Destroy. How do they get any readership at all?

Paparazzi arrested

Some paparazzi scum were arrested for hounding Britney Spears. It’s about time. These people are the lowest form of life. I can’t understand how we can let these vultures harass a person 24 hours a day taking video and photos non-stop and blocking their way. I do not find Britney’s [...]

Which is the worst offense?

Which is the worst offense?

Sandy Berger stuffing classified documents in his pants and then “losing” them?

Congressman William Jefferson hiding a $100,000 bribe in his freezer?

The U.N. Oil For Food Scandal?

Bill Belichick using a camera to capture defensive signals in a football game instead of writing them down?

Now, which of these offenses have [...]

MoveOn.org gets sweetheart deal

According to Confederate Yankee, MoveOn.org paid $65,000.00 for their pre-emptive full page ad in the New York Times where they denounced General Petraeus (who they referred to as “General Betray Us”) before he had even given his testimony. The standard rate for advocacy groups in the New York Times own rate card for [...]

Somebody wake the sleeping giant

Hillary Clinton caused quite a stir this week when she said that a terrorist attack prior to the election would help the GOP. She of course is correct because the politics of appeasement and a strategy of negotiating with terrorists does not work. A few weeks ago, Stu Bykofsky wrote an article [...]

Maybe Carl Everett was right

Dan Shaughnessy is really annoying. For those of you outside of Boston, he is the Boston Globe sports writer who coined the phrase, “The Curse of the Bambino”. He has been nicknamed CHB, “Curly Haired Boyfriend”, taken from a comment made by former Sox player Carl Everett who was referring to fellow sports writer “Gordon [...]
