Do you remember how bent out of shape the Democrats were prior to the last election whenever their patriotism was questioned? They declared loudly how it was their patriotic duty to challenge the President’s policies. Well well well. Look at how times have changed. In today’s USA Today Op-Ed by Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer, they accuse anyone speaking out against Universal Health Care as being “un-American.” In fact that’s the title of their article, “Un-American Attacks Can’t Derail Health Care Debate”.
Ok so we’ve gone from reporting on your “fishy” neighbor to calling those who challenge their socialist policies as un-patriotic.
To top it off we have Rahm Emanuel trying to intimidate Members of Congress and Governors and the SEIU beating up Kenneth Gladney who was handing out “Don’t Tread On Me” flags at Town Hall Meetings.
So it looks like Congress and the Administration fear debate while those who do not have a new rallying cry, “I am Kenneth Gladney”.
Somehow I just don’t see this strategy working out for them.
