Republicans stand up for America finally

Zero House Republicans voted for Obama’s stimulus package which is loaded with wasteful spending that will do nothing to stimulate the economy. Republicans were willing to consider a bipartisan compromise but could not vote for such a bill that does not include more tax cuts and less wasteful spending.
Finally. Good first step in winning me [...]

Winning high school coach fired

As you may have heard by now, in Dallas, the Covenant School recently beat the Dallas Academy 100-0 in girl’s basketball. The Covenant School apologized for the victory and offered to forfeit the game. On www.flightbasketball.com, Covenant Coach Micah Grimes writes,

“I respectfully disagree with the apology, especially the notion that the Covenant [...]

If you build it, they will come

John Murtha said he would gladly take the terrorists from Gitmo with open arms into Pennsylvania if he only had a maximum security prison to put them in.
It’s time to build a prison right in Murtha’s backyard.
To all those “redneck” constituents that re-elected that idiot, you get what you deserve.

The sky is falling

All Hail Obama!

Is the economy better yet? Where’s my check?

Upon reflection I am no longer a Republican

Well now that I’ve thanked President Bush for what he had done well, let’s talk about the things he didn’t do so well.  The biggest mistake he may have made was pushing the country into socialism with massive wasteful spending and government ownership of private institutions.  I believe the housing bubble that caused the economic [...]

Thank you President Bush

I know it’s fashionable to derangely hate President Bush, but I can appreciate the things that President Bush did right.  He was right on the war on terror.  I say thanks for no attacks since 9/11 and I give him the credit in the world for it.  I say thanks for going after the terrorists [...]

Here we go

It seems fitting that the day after we honor Martin Luther King Jr’s dream, that Barack Obama will be inaugurated President.  Not only was Obama elected in spite of his color, I contend that he was elected, BECAUSE of his color.   People wanted to be a part of history and this man was close [...]
