Good lord what have we done? We elected a man with no experience to lead our country because we like the way he talks. We elected an African-American for the purpose of making history, not because we agree with him. We are a center-right nation with a hard left government. Dare I say we get what we deserve.
Hope has a new meaning today.
We hope that Barack Obama is the next Reagan and not the next Carter.
We hope that Obama was lying when he said:
- he wants government run health care
- he wants to pull out of Iraq while on the verge of victory
- he does not want to not drill for oil, use coal, natural gas, or nuclear energy
- he is willing to negotiate with dictators and madmen with no preconditions
- he wants to give tax credits to people who don’t pay taxes
We hope that Obama was not lying when he said:
- he would defend Israel
- he would not change the definition of “rich” to below $250,000
- he does not agree with Jeremiah Wright, et al
We hope that Obama’s voting record in the Senate as the most liberal Senator was only to get elected by the wacko left and not his true self.
We hope that Joe Biden never succeeds Barack Obama.
Unlike the deranged left, we do not hope for Obama to fail simply to regain power.
We hope that the Republican party which is now in tatters can rebuild its brand with true conservatism within the next two year.
