After listening to McCain’s specific plan to regulate the financial institutions, I listened to Obama’s “plan”. It was ridiculous. He spoke in platitudes that said absolutely nothing.
This is what I heard:
we need to blah blah blah Fluff
we need a bi-partisan plan blah blah blah
people suffering blah blah blah
crisis blah blah blah
swift serious action blah blah blah
work together blah
world partners, shared responsibility blah blah
banks need to work in prudent way gag
update regulations for 21st century Acckkkk I can’t take any more!!!!!
Pitiful. He has no plan at all. Not a single detail. I never heard anyone talk so much about nothing and make it sound like something.
He said he is going to refrain from presenting a detailed plan until he sees what the Fed is going to do. That’s real leadership. He just voted “Present” again.
Update:
A reporter calls Obama out! The reporter says this is a time for leadership and McCain has a detailed plan yet Obama and his economic advisors seem to be sitting on the sideline. Obama looks annoyed and as usual has no response to the actual question. Just a bunch of flowery nonsense that dances all around so you forget what the question was. He says solutions can’t be devised in a day. He needs time. He wants the G12 to get involved. He is not ready to lead.
