Obama:
“Iraq is not the central front in the war on terrorism, and it never has been,”
“…unlike Senator McCain, I would make it absolutely clear that we seek no presence in Iraq similar to our permanent bases in South Korea.”
Senator (and I use that term loosely) Obama still hasn’t figured out who we are currently fighting in Iraq. Perhaps he would prefer the war be fought in NYC instead. Somehow it is not in our interest to have a base in Iraq even though it is right next to the biggest threat to the world’s security Iran. He must have attended the Murtha School of Homeland Security. Pretty soon we will be moving all our bases in Iraq, Kuwait, South Korea, Germany, etc to Okinawa.
