I keep hearing that the Super Delegates will decide who gets the Democrat nomination, yet I also hear warnings from party leaders such as Nancy Pelosi (leader and Pelosi don’t quite go well together) that the SD’s better vote with the delegates of their states or there will be hell to pay. If this is true what in the world is the point of the SD’s anyways?? I’ve already heard that Kennedy and Kerry will back Obama even though Hillary won Massachusetts. That’s the way it should be. Super Delegates were created to supersede the will of an uninformed electorate. Everyone knows that. If the Dems trusted the voters, there would be no SD’s in the first place. It is almost mandatory and implied by their very existence that they should ignore the voters and pick whoever promises them the most stuff.
