Why in the world is the right to bear arms even up for debate? It is so clearly stated in the Constitution, I don’t understand why the Supreme Court has to interpret its meaning over 200 years after it was written. D.C. decided to ban owning handguns which is blatantly unconstitutional. Yeah I’ve heard the arguments that gun control in Europe has led to much lower gun violence rates. However, the Constitution was written by men clearly far wiser than any politician we have today and the Constitution is THE LAW OF THE LAND. You can’t mess with it unless you amend it. I don’t care if you like it or not, it is a guaranteed right.
