Ok I’m on board with McCain

It was nothing McCain said or did in particular, it’s what Obama said.

I’ve been starting to pay attention to his “chicken in every pot promises”.

So far he has said:

His “green” energy policy will initially cause sharp rises in electric bills. Not to worry we will take the money from companies that export jobs overseas and give it to the poor who can’t afford their electric bills. My electric bill is already $400/month! How in the world will I afford an increase?

He will pay for the first $4000 for most students to attend college.

He will have government run, taxpayer funded universal health care.

Driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.

Prematurely withdraw troops from Iraq ie. cut and run.

Talk to our enemies.

Close Gitmo.

Ban waterboarding.

Provide New Orleans with 100 year hurricane protection. This is another bridge to nowhere. Obama also pledges to help people return to New Orleans. Everyone was upset that New Orleans wasn’t properly protected, however if you choose to return to live in a soup bowl, you get what you deserve. Fool me twice…

Reverse the Bush Tax Cuts.

Wants to bomb Al Qaeda hideouts in Pakistan without their permission – I actually agree with him on this one.

Is that enough to convince you? He scares me. We really have to start keeping track of every thing he says.

  2. Osama the boma was a drug addict according to what he says! Yet the lemmings of the US cheer for every empty promise he makes!
What has he done during his time in
    Congress? crickets
He refuses to put his hand on a Bible during swearing in, refuses to wear a lapel flag, refuses to put his hand over his heart during anthem and his wife is only proud of the US ’cause it suits her purpose to be now! Blech!

  3. Scott,
It’s really tough but I’m on board as well. I’m anxious for the Dem nomination to sort itself out, but I do have mixed emotions. I believe Hillary would be easier to beat but I love seeing her get her just desserts.

  4. Al, nice cheap shot. Way to stick to the issues. The Dems really are in no position to point out personal flaws of a candidate or their spouse.

Linda, your comments frighten me more than the ones I wrote about!

Julie, I’m still rooting for Hillary. I still think Obama can stick his foot in his mouth again. Hope and change, hope and change, hope and change, communism…oops I mean hope and change.
