Over the weekend, Rick Burgess of the Rick and Bubba radio show lost their youngest, two year-old son Bronner Burgess in an accidental drowning. This is devastating news. Rick, who was Andres first football coach, is just about the nicest person I’ve ever met. I’ve always been impressed with what a strong family man he is. My parents lost their son, my brother, so I can understand his anguish.
If you would like to offer your condolences, the service is today, Tuesday, at 2:00 at the Shades Mountain Baptist Church. You can also email the family at prayers@rickandbubba.com. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation to the Bronner Burgess Memorial Fund. You can also post to the MyFox blog.
