Arod is going down

Jose Canseco is coming out with a new book where he exposes Alex Rodriguez. Apparently ARod is not what he claims to be. Surprise, surprise. I fully expected ARod’s name to appear on George Mitchell’s list, yet strangely enough he wasn’t there. I agree with Canseco that the list should be three times as large if not larger than that. I never believed it was just a few players in baseball, just like I don’t believe everyone in the Olympics is clean except for Marion Jones. Considering the rewards at stake, the risk is apparently well worth it. ARod is going to make $275 million dollars in the next 10 years. He’ll probably just deny it and hope no evidence emerges. He could just say he thought it was flax seed oil or that he took it to recovery from an injury and people will roll their eyes and let it slide. His best approach would be to just say, “Yes I did, I’m sorry. It won’t happen again.” That’s what I teach my children to say when they make a big mistake. If he wanted to be completely honest, “Yeah I did it, and so did everyone else. You probably would too for all that money.”
