I had tickets to the World Series in 2003 in both Boston and Florida the year Grady Little left Pedro in the game 1 pitch too long and the Yankees went instead. I sold my Florida ticket for face value to a Florida fan. In 2004, I was unable to get tickets and could not afford the scalped prices. In 2007, once again I could not get tickets online.
I’m putting out a call to anyone who knows anyone who might have tickets to Denver or Boston to please let me know if they are willing to sell them for a reasonable price. I’m a life long Boston fan who has suffered since 1975 when I was 7 years old until 2004. I would love to take my son to the World Series in case this is last one for the next 40 years, but I can’t spend the money I haven’t saved for his college.
