On Tuesday, I flew to Kansas City for business. From my carry-on luggage, the airport security in Birmingham seized my toothpaste, shampoo, hair gel, and various other things. Everyone can relax now. It is safe to travel again. I think I was racially profiled though. We need to keep our eyes on 39 year old, white, male, U.S. citizens on business trips carrying toothpaste. Who knows what they could be up to! We need an organization like CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) to sue the airlines for racial profiling like they did for the Flying Imams. I feel offended and violated. And I didn’t even get my foot bath.
I am going to check my luggage on the way home tonight so my toothpaste doesn’t scare anybody.
