Good news all around. Sox swept the Angels, Pats still undefeated, and the Yankees won.
I know what you’re thinking. Scott has lost his mind being excited that the Yankees beat the Indians last night. A Yankee win is actually a good thing. Now both teams have to pitch their best pitchers again before advancing to meet the Red Sox while the Sox get their pitchers some much needed rest. Also, Mr April, Alex Rodriguez, who prefers to be called Gayrod, has once again become Miss October. He got 2 hits last night but that makes him about 6 for his last 52 in playoff games and .200 for this series. On the flip side, Manny Ramirez and Big Papi are just crushing the ball every at bat.
So far I’m sleeping well. Yankees suck. Go Sox.
