France, not known for tough talk, has impressed me lately. President Sarkozy has warned that Iran getting a nuclear weapon is an “unacceptable risk to stability in the region and in the world” and that it will lead to war if the world fails to deter Iran. Wow. Is this really France? Well how about that! The French boycott is over. I like this guy. Finally someone who gets it. Isn’t it strange how France is moving politically in our direction, yet the U.S. seems to be moving in a direction resembling Jacques Chirac’s loony, socialist France.
