Yesterday my son came home from school and said that the school was locked down. They had to lock the doors, turn off the lights, hide and be quiet. He said it was not a drill. I quickly turned on the news and went on the internet to see if I could get more information. There was nothing. I thought it was just a drill and his imagination got carried away. When we went to football practice later last night, other parents said a person was threatening to kill himself in the school parking lot. Apparently he did not succeed or was just looking for attention and was arrested. It bothers me greatly that he would choose a school as his backdrop. What else was he planning? I still can’t find anything in the news about it. Who is this guy?
UPDATE: The official email from the school, which I did not get, says the “incident” did not occur “on campus”. I still want to know what the incident was and where it occurred.
