The BBC has dropped plans to show a fictional terror attack in an episode of Casualty to avoid offending Muslims. This is just plain ridiculous and pathetic. The BBC is being bullied by Muslims but they are probably somehow convinced they are being “culturally sensitive”. It is just insane that Muslims should be offended by this. If there was a show about yahoo, hippie, wacko, tree-hugging, communist, white college students getting high and protesting everything imaginable or a group of Nazi Skin Heads doing awful things in the U.S., I would not be the least bit personally offended since I do not consider myself to be part of those groups. Plus, it’s fictional television!! Perhaps this upsets Muslims over there because it hits too close. Radical Muslims commit terror attacks. Not putting it on tv doesn’t make it go away.
Muslims in England would be better served protesting the terrorists instead of the BBC.
