Today there was a sixth arrest in the Newark executions of three NJ students. On Fox News this morning they were debating whether one of the suspects is illegal. A genius analyst said that if he’s illegal, that gives us all the more reason to pursue immigration reform. So let me get this straight, we didn’t need to secure the border before this guy killed anyone, but now we should seriously think about it? First of all, an illegal murderer is no better/worse than a homegrown murderer. Had immigration reform passed before he killed anyone, he would have been here legally already. If he had legal status, would that make the murder more palatable? Immigration reform does not stop individual crime. However it will help stop organized terrorism. I say this time and time again. Latinos are not our threat, radical Muslims are. Keep your eye on the ball. Stop focusing the attention on Latin immigrants and instead focus it on ALL immigrants from both borders. We’ll be so proud of ourselves when we stop every Latin immigrant from coming in through Mexico, while the Islamic terrorist with a British passport is sneaking in through Canada to nuke a major city.
