Why aren’t my trackbacks working?

Ok I need some Word Press expert help. Ever since I switched to Word Press, I cannot seem to get my trackbacks to appear on the blogs I am linking to. When I check the post status, it says:

Hi Scott,
I’m here to confirm that the pingback to my blog entry didn’t work — although, I should also mention that all comments/trackbacks/pingbacks to my blog are moderated, so in the event that the pingback was successful, it still wouldn’t have shown up right away.

Have you tried to manually trackback the entry using the trackback URL instead of just pinging?

your trackback came through fine on my blog, it was awaiting moderation on my part, that’s all.
