Do I still have to take my shoes off?

Two years ago lighters were banned from flights because Richard Reid tried to ignite explosives in his shoes. Makes sense right? Of course that was four years after the actual incident. Now lighters are being allowed back on planes because it apparently “did little to make flying safer”. This makes absolutely no sense to me.

What do people gain by bringing their lighters onto planes now? You’d think the lighter companies would be quite upset about this since airport sales will now decrease dramatically at destination sites. Nail clippers I can understand allowing, but lighters? Next they’ll be allowing box cutters back on but banning baby bottles. The TSA seized my Neutrogena Calming Creme for my sunburned arms a few weeks ago. That was really dangerous. Terrorists all over the world are laughing at our stupidity. Oh that’s right, I forgot, there is no War On Terror.  Do I still have to take my shoes off?

Has it been that long? Dear me! Where has the time gone? I suppose when things get so crazy in The Pasture that it shouldn’t be too difficult for The Bull to lose track of Time. Seems when Life finally settles down I’ve been too tired to do…
