Scooter Libby was sentenced to 30 months in prison for perjury during the Valarie Plame CIA leak investigation. It is well known that Scooter Libby was not responsible for the leak and the Robert Novak, the journalist who received the leaked information, has acknowledged this. Novak said that Richard Armitage was his source. Libby simply did not recall his facts correctly or consistently when testifying and is now being punished for a bad memory. He has started a new trend where people will now plead the 5th Amendment rather than testify to avoid a similar fate. This could easily happen to you or me.
President Bush, do the right thing and PARDON SCOOTER LIBBY! Pardon him even though a grown man should never go by the name Scooter.
