Blake Lewis had a great performance with Bon Jovi’s “You give love a bad name.” It’s exactly what we like about him. His Maroon 5 song was pretty good but I liked the Maroon 5 song he sang the previous week better. The song, “This is my now”, that American Idol wrote for him was lame. I think they tried to sabotage him. He can’t sing that crap. This is why you should try to avoid working with Clive Davis. He will ruin your career.
Jordin showed she’s no Christina Aguilera with her first song. Her second song was typical Jordin, excellent. For the last one, Jordin is better suited for the cheesy Clive Davis Air Supply songs. It’s no surprise she sang it better than Blake. It’s still a lame song.
It’s rigged.
Based on the first 2 songs they sang, I pick Blake. Based on all three, you have to give it to Jordin, but I hate to count the last one.
