c.a. marks tagged me for a MEME to list 8 things about myself. I will participate but I can’t promise to tag 8 more people. It might take too much work to find 8 victims bloggers who wouldn’t be annoyed with me. Maybe I’ll just tag Michelle Malkin. I’m sure she’d make time for me.

1. I play the piano. I took classical lessons from age 10 to 17. My skills have diminished quite a bit over the years from lack of use but I still like to sit down and play. These days I tend to play a lot of children’s songs for my kids.

2. I know it’s hard to tell by looking at me now, but I was a bodybuilder in my 20s. A few injuries later along with marriage and kids and this is what you end up with. Bodybuilding taught me great discipline. I feel I can accomplish anything if I set my mind to it.

3. I played soccer growing up. It’s a great sport for kids. My son hasn’t tried it yet. He’s been playing football, baseball, and basketball and we’ve run out of seasons. I think soccer will get substituted for baseball next year. My daughter will definitely play when she is old enough.

4. I am a little disorganized, messy. It could be a sign of an eccentric genius or maybe I’m just lazy. It used to be much worse. I am proud to admit that I have DRASTICALLY improved this in the last few years. I have to set a good example for the kids and my wife works far too hard to pick up after me.

5. Another thing I have definitely improved upon in the last few years is being on time. I’m not sure how it happened, but one day it became very important to me to not be late anymore.

6. As my wife says, I am addicted to technology. I love gadgets and toys, especially computers.

7. I love cheeseburgers! I could live on cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and cheesesteak subs. And diet coke.

8. I live for my family.

My wife is hot! She’s latina from Colombia and dances like Shakira. I have learned that the sexiest women in the world are from Colombia. The best part about her is that she understands my flaws and loves me anyways. She makes me want to be a better person and I am because of her. We are definitely soul mates.

Our son came with her as a package deal when we got married. I often tell him that I married his mother just so I could be his dad. I just loved this kid from the moment I met him. I tell him that I always dreamed about having a son that was just like him. It really bothers my sister that he has so much of my personality.

I love looking at my daughter. It’s like looking in a mirror except she’s beautiful. Luckily she got her mother’s long dark hair with my blue eyes. She’s just a funny, happy kid and I can’t wait to see what she does next. She is my legacy.
