Phil Stacey – Very good! Very surprising. Should have worn a cowboy hat.
Jordin Sparks – Typical Jordin. Poised. Very strong vocals. Cute too. Still my dark horse to win the whole thing. Keep it up.
Sanjaya (no last name needed) – Creepy. Sucked. My 3 year old daughter thinks he’s a girl.
Lakisha (also no last name needed) – Mandisa who? Maybe not her best but she’s consistently good every week. Simon was dead on in his critique. She’s got Melinda beat in the personality department. She deserves to come back.
Chris Richardson – I never really liked this guy. I see nothing remarkable about him. He is just plain boring. I’m still waiting for his voice to finish puberty. He’d probably be better in a boy band.
Melinda Doolittle (Can’t leave out her last name. It’s the best part.) – We all know she’s the best singer in the competition. She really showed some some personality during her performance. She certainly looked better this week too. That will definitely help her. I wasn’t sure her looks and personality could get her to the title, but she’s probably going all the way now. I’m getting a little tired of the fake surprised look though. Quiet confidence would definitely suit her.
Blake Lewis – I miss the beat box. He should have done it during latin week. He is quite a good singer anyways. To me, he is the most versatile and marketable. I’m really torn between him and Melinda to win the whole thing.
