Reuters: Wired Iraqi man triggers scare at L.A. airport
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - An Iraqi national wearing wires and concealing a magnet inside his rectum triggered a security scare at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday but officials said he posed no apparent threat. The man, identified by law enforcement officials as Fadhel al-Maliki, 35, set off an alarm during passenger screening at the airport early on Tuesday morning.
Officials say he poses no apparent threat but when you combine his magnet and wires with the parts stored in the rectums of his terror cell buddies he was going to meet up with, what sort of device were they planning to create? An Etch-A-Sketch?
Now I’m not saying these stories are related, but last week an American Airlines employee allowed Al Gore and his two associates to bypass airline security so they could quickly get aboard their airplane to increase the Earth’s temperature. The employee will be re-trained. I’m sure the training will now include rubber gloves and vaseline.
