Michael J. Fox is right, not all politics are local. When you vote on November 7, you are not just sending your favorite local congressman to represent your little part of the world. You are deciding which values will prevail in our national government for at least for the next 2 years. If the Democrats regain the majority in the House, it is likely that Nancy Pelosi will become Speaker.

* NO on protecting the Pledge of Allegiance
* NO on banning partial-birth abortion
* NO on requiring a photo I.D. to ensure only legal voters vote

* NO on authorizing domestic tracking of terrorists
* NO on military tribunals and new interrogation rules for terrorist detainees
