When I think of liberals, I am reminded of Ralphie in A Christmas Story when he is warned constantly about shooting his eye out with “An official Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time”. Of course he does it anyways. This is sort of like how the Democratic Party behaves. We try to warn them again and again against being a party that unjustly attacks while having no ideas of their own. But they just can’t help themselves. “Culture of Corruption! Culture of Corruption” What a catchy phrase. I hear it being gleefully squawked in all the media. As usual, the game plan is say it enough and it might actually stick. But instead, Karl Rove has been cleared of all charges, the Republicans maintained their House seat in Southern California when Brian Bilbray defeated Democrat Francine Busby, and Congressman William Jefferson (D-LA) hid $90,000 in bribe money in his freezer. It’s poetic justice. And for good measure Zarqawi was killed just to rub it in a little. Sounds to me like the Democrats have a “Culture of Incompetence”. Please keeping following this strategy. It’s working just fine.
