When I heard yesterday that WMD’s had been found in Iraq, I was curious to see what the liberal response would be. I thought it was going to be more “Bush lied” and withheld information to make them look bad. One reaction I did not expect was this report from Fox News:
Offering the official administration response to FOX News, a senior Defense Department official pointed out that the chemical weapons were not in useable conditions.“This does not reflect a capacity that was built up after 1991,” the official said, adding the munitions “are not the WMDs this country and the rest of the world believed Iraq had, and not the WMDs for which this country went to war.”
What????
Now the Bush administration is not even on their own side. Unreal. This is the biggest “I told you so” in decades. They should be shouting it from rooftops. I give up. I don’t even know what to call this other than sad.
As someone said on Hannity and Colmes last night, if they are so harmless, why don’t you bury them in your backyard where your kids play?
