This is how the Barbara Boxer interview went on Fox News today. She was asked about her support of the Democratic resolutions to create a deadline for troop withdrawal in Iraq:
[paraphrasing]
blah blah blah….The mission in Iraq keeps changing and we want to support the troops [gag] and give them a mission they can succeed in. First the mission was to find the Weapons of Mass Destruction. Then it was to find Saddam Hussein. They have finished those missions…. blah blah blah
Did you catch that? She said it really quickly. What happened to “Bush lied”? Or “There were no WMD’s”? What she didn’t say speaks volumes. She basically has conceded and said we are accomplishing all of our objectives so let’s get out before we can completely succeed.
