The 8 year old Oak Mountain Trenton Thunder won their first playoff game on Saturday. Going into the last inning, the Thunder were down 12-10. As the entire team cheered with chants of “Manny! H-I-T! Manny! H-I-T!, “The Fred” got a huge double to knock in the tying run and then scored the go ahead run on the next play. Andres wears number 24 which is the same number as his favorite player, Manny Ramirez. The Thunder went into the bottom of the last inning with a 15-12 lead. They were able to hang on for a 15-13 victory with great defense. They are peaking at exactly the right time.
