The Red Sox are in first place. But being a die-hard sox fan my entire life, I need to worry even though it’s only April. Coco Crisp is out, Bronson Arroyo threw a one-hitter last night (for the Reds), Josh Bard can’t catch the knuckle ball (shouldn’t have traded Mirabelli), Manny is barely hitting (probably still pouting), David Wells is fat, old, complaining, and injured, and there is no reliable starting pitching beyond Schilling and Beckett.
I expect Theo to straighten out these problems fairly soon. Yankees come to town in 4 days!

Update: Same night I wrote this, Josh Beckett got hammered for 9 runs. Guess I forgot to knock on wood.
