Priorities and perspective

Which is worse? Sneaking into a country to feed your family and giving your children a better life? Or letting liberal judges give child molesters a pass? For some reason, America wants to punish illegal immigrants far more seriously than child molesters. Illegal immigrants are, for the most part, hard working, well intentioned people who help keep our economy moving. They would give anything to change to a legal status if they could.

When Bill O’Reilly points out far left judges such as Judge John Connor of Ohio and Judge Edward Cashman of Vermont are letting child molesters go free with a slap on the wrist, if that, hardly anyone takes notice or cares. The states Ohio and Vermont certainly do not care. I say we deport the child molesters and judges instead. They are the real problem in our society. There should be more outrage and priority put on those issues.

I’m not saying securing our borders is not important, because it is vital to track who is coming into the country and keep out criminals and terrorists. That is definitely a priority and is not my comparison at all. I am saying the emphasis on how to best punish the illegals already in the country is way out of perspective. The punishment does not fit the crime especially if you consider the intent of the people involved.
