Of Mice and Men

Adieu, Freedom of Speech. Alas, we hardly knew ye.

Are we mice or men?? If we are to be judged by the content of our character, then lately we should be considered sniveling, spineless cowards that kowtow to the intimidation of third world bullies and the whims of Euro-fems. Political correctness and social castration has started the decline of our once great nation. I cannot imagine our grandparents’ generation standing for this. They would be ashamed at what we’ve become. We’re a bunch of sissies whining about being “offended” by EVERYTHING.

Radical liberals have infiltrated every level of our society and neutered our once strong and vibrant leadership and political will. Americans are reduced to apologizing for offending the sensiblilites of morons who are outraged over a cartoon. Yet we hear no apologies or regret for the murders and violence perpetrated in the name of Mohammed. (Can I actually type the name Mohammed, or is it that I just can’t draw a picture?)

Here is the South Park cartoon which is an excellent commentary about the times we live in. Comedy Central doesn’t have the balls to show Mohammed in the cartoon but that makes the cartoon even more relevant.

Imagine the Greatest Generation not fighting back against Hitler for fear of angering him or any of his allies, or getting caught up in a “quagmire”. Does anyone remember how amazing it was to see how quickly our military just utterly devasted Saddam’s Republican Guard in just days? How about Afghanistan? In a matter of weeks we destroyed the Taliban. The Soviet Union couldn’t do that in 10 years. How did we so quickly lose our resolve and backbone?

Please read Michelle Malkin’s articles on the South Park controversy and the the firing of Bill Hobbs for a satirical cartoon about Mohammed (Oops, typed it again).

Sure an employer has the right to fire anyone in this country for any reason. Hear that France? But when are we going to start sticking up for our own team and the values we believe in? It’s time for the baseball manager to go out to home plate and kick some dirt on the umpire to show his players that he’s got their back. This is a slippery slope we are starting down. I have not seen Bill Hobbs’ cartoon since I cannot find it online, but I will defend his right to create it. Just as I will defend the right of liberal morons to bash America and all it stands for. Once again tolerance by the Left only extends as far as they deem fit.
