I stumbled across this video at Real Teen- Right on the Right. And I thought PBS had a liberal slant. It turns out Sesame Street characters favor Republican George W. Bush after all.

  1. I recently became obsessed with this clip, because I was crazy about it when I saw it 25 years ago, and it brought back memories when I saw it on YouTube. When I was in summer camp, some of the kids were bringing handheld computer games, and I proposed starting a “computer game club.” I wrote a club song:

    Oh, what is the game we love?
    What game are we extra fond of?
    It’s not a commuter train–
    it’s a computer game
    when you hear beep, beep, beep, beep.

    (What else rhymes with “computer game?” I know 25 years later that “commuter train” doesn’t really make sense there.)

    In any case, I’m happy to see that Bert’s Association lives on the web. Heck, I still crack up every time I see Bert sway with the podium!
