The news media is trying to convince us that the students in France are violently protesting the new labor laws that allow the firing of anybody under the age of 26 within 2 years of employment for any reason. I’m watching the action on Fox News right now. It appears to me that the violence is being caused by thugs and gang members and not the students. They are all wearing hoods and masks throwing rocks and bottles. Most of the actual socialist, whiny students seem to be running for cover. The liberal press wants you to believe that all the youth of France are so outraged that the law has instigated the violence. There is nothing different here than people in Detroit burning down the city when the Pistons win the NBA championship. The French people are in general a bunch of non-violent pansies which they have shown time and time again by the way they avoid conflict. Let’s just call these rioters “insurgents” or communist “freedom fighters”.
I wonder if these “protesters” have jobs they should be at instead.
