Queen - QUEEN GUITARIST ACCUSES IDOL PRODUCERS OF DECEPTION

Queen guitarist Brian May stated that his encounter with Ace Young was taken out of context and portrayed their discussion in a negative fashion. This manipulation was quite obvious while watching the show. Simon constantly finds ways to discourage people from voting for contestants he does not favor. The wardrobe, camera angles, lighting and effects always seem to be better for Simon’s favorites. I have noticed that Chris Daughtry always has fantastic rock show lighting with closeups whereas Ace Young had to basically sing “We Will Rock You” with a fully lit stage with cameras pulled back further to make it less intimate. Isn’t it strange that Mandisa and Paris always seem to get a camera angle from the rear which is definitely not their most flattering asset.

As for the final two contestants, if the country has all the phone lines jammed for 4 hours straight with no break in between any of the calls, statistically how can there be a clear cut winner? Are the winners decided by all the Cingular text votes? There should be a better way to decide the winner.
