Adam Vinatieri- Kick in the teeth for Patriots – The Boston Globe
I sure am going to miss Adam Vinatieri. Once you have scored the game winning points in 3 Super Bowls, there isn’t really much else to prove. I’m just surprised the Patriots didn’t put more value on him than they did. He’s a Boston hero and they should have made an extra effort to keep him. I understand they have a formula for success and need to stick to it in order to keep winning, but clutch field goals are invaluable. Sorry I’m going to have to root against him from now on. Miss! Miss! Miss!
