America’s Anchorman: Port Snort Was the Perfect Panic
Rush Limbaugh is backing the President on the Dubai Ports World sale. Bill O’Reilly is too. I’m going to have to keep an open mind on this. President Bush is a highly principled man and O’Reilly and Rush would have torn him to pieces if they thought Bush was compromising our security.
The most intriguing fact Rush presented was that we received $126 million in foreign aid for the Hurricane Katrina victims. $100 million of that came from the United Arab Emirates.
As of now, I still think no foreign entity should be involved in such a sensitive area, but I am willing to listen a bit more. I would have to be convinced that no terrorist could possibly take advantage of this situation and I’d say that will be very hard to do. I really hate being on the same side of the issue as Hillary Clinton. There’s something unnerving about that.
