Did you know if you say something really loud, say it often, and sound angry, it must be true? Try it. No evidence is necessary. It can be anything.
Examples:
“The President has no exit strategy or plan to win the peace.” Must be true.
“All natural disasters are the President’s fault for ignoring the environment”. Must be true.
“The President broke the law and is spying on Americans”. Must be true.
“We are losing the war (but we support the troops)”. Must be true.
“Republicans have a culture of corruption”. Must be true.
“The President is 12 times the terrorist as Bin Laden. (Cindy Sheehan, Hugo Chavez, Harry Belafonte, et al).” Must be true.
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.” Must be true.
etc.
Republicans basically are reduced to responding, “Um, that’s not true.” which is basically drowned out my more wailing and moaning. It’s like asking someone, “When did you stop cheating on your wife?”
