Ayman al-Zawahiri seems quite upset about the failed attempt to kill him recently. He says the attack, “killed innocents”. Do I really need to point out the irony of this?
“In seeking to kill my humble self and four of my brothers, the whole world has discovered the extent of America’s lies and failures and the extent of its savagery in fighting Islam and Muslims.”
Oh please. Yawn. Why am I not feeling the requisite terror or pity in my heart? Next thing you know, liberals will have him nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for their proposed “truce”. He’ll probably end up as President of the EU or the Secretary-General of the UN. How does the saying go?
“You can fool all of the liberals some of the time and some of the liberals all of the time. In fact, you probably even fool all of the liberals all of the time. But you can’t fool W.”
On a better note, the Sox got the player with the best name in baseball, Coco Crisp. I hope he has a good sense of humor because he has no idea what Boston fans will come up with the first time he goes into a mini slump.
